Autism assessment
Autism Assessment Involves the Following Steps:

-
Autism Assessment First Meeting (1 hour): A comprehensive psychiatric interview with the young person and their parents/guardians.
-
Autism Assessment Second Meeting: ADOS-2 (1 hour): The second meeting involves engaging the young person in social and play activities. This is known as the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition), an activity-based assessment to evaluate communication skills, social interaction, and imagination.
-
Autism Assessment Second Meeting: ADI-R (1 hour): The third meeting is with the young person’s parents/guardians, where a detailed developmental assessment is conducted. This is referred to as the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised), a developmental interview focusing on social development and communication during early childhood.
-
Report: Following the third meeting, a detailed assessment report will be sent to the young person’s parents/guardians.
